Rear wheel arch and subframe corrosion
Older Mazda3 and Mazda6 models are known for rust at the rear arches and rear subframe. During safety inspections we look closely at structural corrosion, because it affects whether a vehicle can be certified.
Skyactiv engines and oil quality
High-compression Skyactiv engines are particular about oil specification. We use the grade Mazda lists, and check for carbon-related rough idle on higher-mileage direct-injection engines.
Rear brake caliper service
Rear calipers seize from salt exposure on many Mazdas. Servicing slides at each brake job keeps wear even and the parking brake functioning.
Suspension bushings and mounts
Mazda's sportier suspension tuning means bushings and strut mounts show wear earlier over Scarborough pavement. We check for play whenever you report a clunk.
