Visiting the shop
Where is CANPAK AUTO located?
1271 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, Ontario M1P 2L4 — on Kennedy Road, a short drive from Eglinton Avenue East and Highway 401.
What are your hours?
Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We are closed on Sunday.
Do I need an appointment?
Booking ahead is best, especially for safety inspections and tire changeovers. Same-day service is available when appointment capacity permits — call and we will tell you what is open today.
How do I get an estimate?
Call us or send a quote request. For most repairs we inspect the vehicle first so the estimate is accurate, and we never begin work without your approval.
Safety certificates and rideshare
Are you a licensed inspection station?
Yes. CANPAK AUTO is an Ontario-Licensed Motor Vehicle Inspection Station, so we can perform Safety Standards Certificate inspections and issue the certificate when a vehicle meets the provincial standard.
Is a Safety Standards Certificate a warranty?
No. It confirms the vehicle met Ontario's minimum safety standards on the day of the inspection. It is not a warranty or a guarantee of future reliability.
How much is an Uber or Lyft inspection?
Rideshare vehicle inspections are $85. Any repairs required to meet the provincial standard are quoted separately and always require your approval.
Can you guarantee my vehicle will pass?
No. As a licensed station we must record what we find. If something does not meet the standard we show you, quote the repair, and issue the certificate once the vehicle qualifies.

What vehicles do you service?
Japanese, Korean, domestic and European cars, SUVs, minivans and light trucks. We are an independent shop and are not a dealership for any manufacturer.
Do you service small business fleets?
Yes. We handle planned maintenance and repairs for local fleets and rideshare drivers who depend on their vehicle to earn.
How do I know a repair is really needed?
We show you the worn or failed component and explain what it does. If something can safely wait, we tell you that instead of selling it today.
