Alloy Wheels

Some alloy wheels are designed to encourage cool air flow over the brakes to prevent overheating. It is good to use alloy rims if you do a lot of driving in the mountains or in stop-and-go traffic.

Tire Rotation

The front tires wear quicker than the rears. Because of this, it’s necessary to rotate the tires front-to-rear several times during their life cycle.

  1. equalize tread wear and
  2. maximize the life of the tires

This is what’s referred as “rotate the tires.”

How often should you rotate your tires? That depends. Refer to your owner’s manual for exact guidelines, but most manufacturers recommend rotating tires roughly every 5,000 to 10,000 miles. Again, see your owner’s manual for specifics.

Safety Standards Certificate for Used Cars Ontario

The Ontario Safety standard Certificate (SSC) ensures that only safe, roadworthy vehicles are on the roads in Ontario.

canpak-safety-certified-650

A safety standards certificate is an inspection certificate presented upon passing the minimal safety standards for Ontario. A Safety, along with a drive clean certificate, is required to register a car with the Ministry of Transportation (“MTO”)to claim full ownership.

A Safety can be completed by any licensed garage in Ontario. This includes registered independent mechanics as well as departmental store’s auto services such as Canadian Tire.

Who Needs To Complete the Safety?

While selling our used vehicles and if we say “E-Test included” means we ensure that the vehicle is delivered with the complete E-Test along with the report.

Drive Clean is Ontario’s mandatory vehicle emissions inspection and maintenance program that is reducing vehicle emissions of smog-causing pollutants by requiring vehicles to undergo an emissions test to identify emissions problems and have them repaired. Ontario Service has already mentioned below information on their website:

Wheel Balance & Alignment

There are several reasons for tire wear and tear. Tires should be changed when the signs of tire wear are evident. Tire wear can be dangerous because it can cause your tires to fail, blow out, or lose traction. Here are some of the causes you should know about.

Tire Inflation

Your tires should be inflated to the proper pressures. Under or over inflation can both cause tire wear. An over-inflated tire will actually wear out in the center of the tire because the sides are subject to more pressure and energy. Conversely, an under-inflated tire will do the opposite. There will be more pressure on the center of the tire, so the outsides of the tire will feel the effects.

Tire Rotation

The tire alignment should be changed about twice a year. Tires should be rotated twice a year and for good reason. Tires in the back face different things than
